The Aurelia, the pinkest, prettiest, dreamiest princess dress. This is our take on the dress worn by a certain princess, famed for being asleep. With a velvet bodice, whose front panel is inlayed with a gorgeous, pink lace with touches of sparkling gold. This same fabric encircles the waist, within the peplum edging that frames the waist. The sleeves are made of a soft, stretchy, breathable tulle. With the skirt made of layers of fabulous pink tulle. The skirt and bodice are both cotton lined, ensuring maximum comfort whilst it's worn.
It's the perfect dress for princess parties, special trips away or to wear every day to add an extra touch of magic to your little princess's day.

A seamless checkout, fast shipping, fab communication and beautiful packaging: I knew this was going to be something special before I’d even opened it.
It’s beautifully designed, with such attention to detail, and my daughter loves it. The fabric choice is perfect: it’s soft, comfortable and not at all itchy.
And to top it all off, it’s the perfect dress for spinning - who could ask for more? Well… maybe one in my size?
100% worth the price tag and I’ll definitely order again.
I bought this for my daughter’s 3rd birthday a few weeks ago and she has barely taken it off since.
I had been slightly cautious about buying online without trying on first. My daughter has eczema on her elbows and the backs of her knees, so is very particular about materials against her skin. Last year I got her a supermarket Elsa dress and it hasn’t been worn because the sleeves are itchy. I shouldn’t have worried though! This has been beautifully made using soft fabrics and she hasn’t complained once.
As you can see from the photos the dress isn’t just for special occasions, it’s genuinely made to be played in. From bouncy castles to muddy puddles to the aisles of Aldi(!), my daughter has worn this everywhere and just loves it.
Re price: worth noting that the Disney store has two pink / Sleeping Beauty dresses - one is £35 and one is £60. Both are 100% polyester and even the more expensive of the two doesn’t have the same level of detail as the Aurelia, for example the pattern is printed rather than lace / stitching. So for £5 less you’re getting softer materials and a much prettier dress!
I can’t wait to pick what she’s going to have for her next birthday, and just wish there were smaller sizes so my youngest doesn’t have to wait another 2.5 years for her first one!
Where to start!…
This dress has been an absolute favourite with my daughter from the moment we opened the box.
It was her first ever Fairytale Wardrobe Dress.
The material is just gorgeous.
The sleeves are so incredibly comfortable (for a child who is very very VERY fussy about sleeves!) the material allows so much movement and is so so soft.
The quality of the dress on the whole is just amazing for the price!
The coverage on it is perfect, some other ‘costumes’ are a bit short but the length is 👌🏻
You can really tell just how much thought put into this dress.
This is a must have for any princess mad girls! 😍
The fit was outstanding, it looked like it was custom made for my little girl. She twirled, danced, and smiled nonstop the entire day. She truly felt like a real princess, and seeing that joy on her face was absolutely priceless! She normally finds materials itchy and irritating but she loves the feel of this. Extremely well made. Thank you so much! We will be back for more!
The sleeves are made of the same see-through netting fabric that is used to line men’s swimming trunks - and doesn’t even match any of the fabric from the rest of the costume.
It’s awful looking and feels weirdly inappropriate to make part of a child’s clothing literally see-through. It’s like slapping a pair of pink fish net tights on her arms.
I don’t understand why the sleeves aren’t made with the same fabric as the collar/bodice - this is what I assumed would be the case based on the photos (though checking now I can see the only close up photo of the sleeves is deliberately blurred/out of focus.
The main reason I chose this brand was because they claim quality and natural fabrics are their priority so am hugely disappointed to find such cheap, plastic fabric chosen as the next-to-skin layer for the sleeves.
Finally, the peplum fabric is all bunched and poorly sewn- it looks like the velvet under layer is far too big for the lace trim causing it to be lumpy and bubble out.
I am returning this without even trying it on my child as I would never let her wear something so plastic-y and see-through. Which is a shame as some elements of the dress are absolutely gorgeous.
Dear Laura,
We are sorry that you don’t feel the quality of ‘the Aurelia’ is as advertised. The quality and attention to detail are two things that we, not just pride ourselves on , but are also known for, as can be seen from the other reviews left for this dress and the others available in our collection.
The fabrics we use are of a high quality. Mesh sleeves on children’s costumes are quite a standard feature, but the fabrics we have chosen are far softer and infinitely nicer than the ones you would find on a generic costume and our customers often comment on how comfrotable their children find our products.
Thank you for the feedback re: the photos of the sleeves, we can assure you that these have not been blurred out and feel that the photos shown on our website and on our social pages depict the sleeves of this dress well.
Regards
Lucy
