Why you should choose us?

Why you should choose us?

Since launching last year we’ve had several people message us to ask what makes our dresses so special. They’ve pointed out that there are many fancy dress options out there that they can purchase for mere pounds, so why should they invest in one of our dresses. It’s a fair question, in a day and age when we’re all looking at what we spend, why should you choose us? Well, let us tell you.

Firstly, and I know we’ve spoken about this before, but ALL of our products are CE tested. Why does this matter you ask? Surely all children’s products need to have this? In short, the answer is, yes they do. But that doesn’t mean that they necessarily have it. There are a lot of websites out there, big ones that we’ve all probably used from time to time, that are selling fancy dress clothes that haven’t been tested. This means that they haven’t been fire safety tested (we all know the story of how Claudia Winkleman campaigned for better testing of fancy dress clothes), the dyes used within the fabrics haven’t been safety checked, and nor have any small parts or additional details. If you want an in-depth breakdown of why CE testing matters then look at our blog post here.

Secondly, we work very hard to ensure that our dresses are of the highest quality. People often comment about the weight of our dresses, they’re not flimsy and thin as so many others are, with ours, the quality speaks for itself the moment you hold one. All of our dresses are cotton lined, making them not just comfortable but breathable too, allowing your child to wear them in comfort for hours. I think we’re all aware of the impact of fast fashion on our environment, but our dresses are designed to last and once out grown can be passed down to siblings, cousins, friends so that their magic continues. Or boxed up and tucked away for future generations to enjoy.

Thirdly, attention to detail. From the tulle that edges the collar line, to the embroidery on the front of our dresses, each minute detail is thought about, worked on and tweaked until we are 100% happy with it. We want our dresses to be just as special as the children who wear them because it’s important that they love them just as much as we love designing them.

Fourthly, they’re magical and wonderfully unique. We’ve had so many people come to us and buy our dresses because they’re ‘not like your standard princess dress.’ And we agree, they have all been designed with a nod towards certain princesses, but the Rapunzel could easily be worn as a fairy dress, just add a pair of wings and a wand and you’re away. If you’re having an Alice in Wonderland themed party why not look at the Ruby, which would work perfectly as a Queen of Hearts costume. The Annalise exudes all worldly charm, and if you were to throw a red cape over it, add a basket and a pair of boots… you have Little Red Riding Hood. Then we have the Aurelia, whether your little one wants to go off to a ball, be a princess for a day or just needs to wear something fabulous (we all have those days) then it’s the perfect dress for all those occasions plus countless more. And don’t forget our NEW Royal Coat, a beautiful piece that is just as perfect for girls as it is for boys, whether they want to be a prince, pirate or dashing adventurer this is the coat for them.

Childhood is so fleeting, that we want to help your little ones embrace every magical moment of it, our dresses (and accessories) are created to enhance their play as they go off on wonderous make-believe adventures where anything and everything is possible.

So that is why you should choose us, because we go above and beyond to ensure that your child has the perfect costume to play in, a costume that will last and be loved over and over again, because we really do believe in ‘making every day magical.’

Let’s all celebrate the magic of childhood, where cardboard boxes become grand castles. Twigs transform into magic wands and every day is a new and magical adventure.
